Franz Leth Junior

“Always looking for something new.”

Franz Leth Junior’s first playground was the vineyard and to this day, winemaking is at the centre of his interest. The Leth estate wines bear his signature and he accompanies the grapes from the vines to the wine cellar. He loves the challenges that each vintage bring. He feels especially proud when he goes into the wine library and pick out a bottle of his first vintage, the 2006. In addition to wine-growing, Franz Junior volunteers for the Red Cross and spends many hours working as an emergency medical officer.
