The challenge to produce characteristic and typical
wines from every new vintage constitutes one of the most interesting
sides of a vintner's job. In order to be able to follow developments
in the course of years and to taste how aromas and flavors are evolving,
the most attractive representatives of a vintage have each been
stored in our library since the beginning of the 70s. Today, we
are in a position to offer an extensive portfolio of rare wines
to our customers; wines that make wonderful gifts for jubilees and
attractive companions on special occasions.

Thanks to Franz Leth Sen., visitors to the Estate will
find a special attraction there: Some years ago Franz Leth Sen. started
to collect grape varieties previously grown in Austria, and planted Austria's
first >> living grape variety museum<<. It showcases approximately
150 old grape varieties. Most of them have almost died out, others have
never gained any major importance, and a few have not even been cultivated
in practice.
In good vintages, most of these grapes are vinified to single varietal
wines and available for tasting upon inquiry.
