For us, to match the right grape varieties to
the right soils and climate is the basis for producing high-quality
wines. The abundant loess layer covering a massif of primitive
rock decisively influences the development of the complexity
and consistency of our wines. The positive effects of the
Pannonian climate promote grape ripening, and the large differences
between day and night temperatures impart pronounced aromas
and flavors paired with a uniquely tart acidity on our white
wines.

Nature means well with our vines and we cooperate
in harmony with it. We have not used any herbicides for 25 years,
chemical plant protection is reduced to the absolute minimum required.
Our premise in the vineyards is to keep the soils healthy and preserve
vegetational diversity. Low yields by pruning to just a few buds
and grape thinning will ensure a fully ripe and unseathed crop every
year.
