Varieties

Another award is flown into our vineyard! At the SALON Austria wine we were able to win the category “Old Austrian Grape Variety” with our Roter Veltliner Wagram 2015 against stiff competition. We are overjoyed with the award for Franz Leth, Jr., who has been in charge of wines from the estate for a number of years now.  Moreover, the 2015 vintage was a real challenge for viticulture and we could only harvest a very small amount of high-quality grapes. For Roter Veltliner is a variety that needs experience and a touch of intuition if it is to taste great, and the award shows us that we got it right here.
